aMERICAN EATERY & PUB
You can get a burger just about anywhere. So what makes us think ours are special? Ingredients. Our meat is sourced from humane regional producers and prepared fresh daily. Our buns come from our good friends at Geraldine's Bakery in Asheville. Vegetarians, Vegans and gluten despisers - take heart! We have options for you. Oh yeah ... we also have over 50 toppings so that you can build a burger fit to be called over-the-top.
smoke meat everyday
Nothing beats that campfire barbecue smell and it is the first thing that hits you when you walk into Stackhouse. Why? Because we are constantly smoking pork shoulder, beef brisket, chicken wings, and pork spare ribs. All of our meats are smoked in house using apple, cherry or hickory and our house-made rubs. Top your favorite meat off with one of our six house-made barbecue sauces.
Asheville and Beyond
Whether it is your favorite domestic beer, or the latest craft brew from that great place down the road, we carry an extensive beer menu sure to have old and new favorites. Our five taps are curated to offer what we believe to be exemplary selections of favorite varietals. We also stock a variety of red, white, and sparkling wines. Whatever your pleasure, we've got something to ease your post work blues, knock one back with a friend or try something out of this world.
Commitment to Customers
There are three ways to do things – fast, affordable, and great. You can only pick two. Fast and affordable is rarely great. Great and fast is seldom affordable. At Stackhouse, we are committed to serving you a great meal at an affordable price.
All food is cooked fresh to order. Everything, except the bread, is made in-house. We will do our best to accommodate your specific requests and provide you with a great dining experience.
What does this mean?
During times of high volume, our tiny (but fierce) kitchen is capable of producing a limited number of dishes in a set time frame. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Please inform your server of any time constraints or food allergies so that we can provide you the best experience possible.
We are a sit down restaurant and committed to making sure our guests leave happy. During peak business hours we are sometimes unable to process take-out orders. If your phone call is not answered during business hours, we are currently experiencing high volume.
Please try again at a later time or consider ordering 24 hours in advance so that we can best meet your requests.
We are a cozy, intimate gathering spot with a limited number of seats.
Please have your entire party present to be seated so that we can be efficient in accommodating all of our guests.
If you are dining with a large party (5 or more), consider arriving before 5:30 or after 7:30 as this will increase the likelihood that we can seat you quickly.
We take food safety seriously. We can only control the safety of food and beverage prepared on-site.
Please help us adhere to health code ordinances by refraining from bringing in outside food or beverages.
